Human Resources/Marketing Intern

HR/MARKETING INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

At Precision Industrial Contractors, Inc., we specialize in industrial construction and maintenance services. Our team of experienced professionals provide quality craftsmanship and attention to detail on every project. We have a wide range of services, including fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment; installation and repair of mechanical systems; electrical and instrumentation system installation and repair; and installation, repair, and maintenance of process piping systems. We offer a variety of solutions to our clients that are cost-effective, safe, and compliant with all applicable codes and regulations.

Precision Industrial Contractors, Inc. (PIC) interns have a unique educational opportunity to gain exposure to diverse multidisciplinary teams, such as office personnel, fabricators, CDL drivers, traveling craftsmen, etc. Bring your innovation and curiosity to this exciting internship opportunity!

 

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree or higher program, with expected graduation date of 2026
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Ability to work in PIC office in Woodland, WA
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or other word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for future sponsorship
  • Knowledgeable in use of social media platforms, (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Market analysis and research on competition
  • Assist in marketing and advertising
  • Prepare promotional presentations
  • Manage and update company database and CRM systems
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices

Upon completion of your internship with PIC you will be asked to present a project to the team as your exit interview. Top performing summer interns will be eligible to receive offers to join PIC as a HR/Marketing Professional after successful completion of their degree.

Benefits:

  • Summer Internship will be roughly 10 weeks long and be determined upon hire based on your school year start and end dates
  • $18-21 per hour DOE

Mechanical Engineer Intern

MECHANICAL ENGINEER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

(PIC) interns have a unique educational opportunity to gain exposure to multiple engineering disciplines, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Automation & Controls, Civil, and Structural. Interns will have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with diverse multidisciplinary teams of Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Drafters on a variety of industrial engineering projects. Bring your innovation and curiosity to this exciting internship opportunity!

 

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a Mechanical or Chemical/Process Engineering academic program at an ABET-accredited institution with an expected graduation date in 2026
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Ability to work in PIC office in Woodland, WA and be willing to travel off site on occasion
  • Excellent interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or other word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for future sponsorship
  • Juniors or Seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree or first year Master’s or has at least one more semester remaining to graduate

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the lead Mechanical Engineers and Project Managers in creating project deliverables such as piping & mechanical drawings, PFDs & P&IDs, design specifications, equipment data sheets, field investigations, and calculations
  • Develop solutions across multiple disciplines including mechanical, electrical and piping
  • Utilize engineering software applications like AutoCAD, NavisWorks, Inventor and Revit
  • Present an end-of-internship overview of completed objectives, tasks, and projects
  • Assist in writing standard operating procedures and training manuals
  • Provide engineering support to other departments as needed
  • Present to the department periodically and at the end of the internship
  • Other duties as assigned
  • General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; which may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so
  • Occasional overnight travel to include flying and driving, expenses paid
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time for a minimum of 8 hours
  • Reading computer screens or other electronic devices

Upon completion of your internship with PIC you will be asked to present your project to the team as your exit interview.  Top-performing summer interns will be eligible to receive full-time offers to join PIC as full-time Engineer upon successful completion of their degree.

Construction Management/Project Manager Intern

  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Ability to work in PIC office in Woodland, WA and be willing to travel off site on occasion
  • Excellent interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or other word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for future sponsorship
  • Juniors or Seniors pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or first year Master’s or has at least one more semester remaining to graduate
  • Must be able to read and understand contract language and be open to learning drafting software.  Experience in AutoCAD Inventor is a plus
